Joining the Judging Panel
As someone who's been building vans for over 25 years, from the early days working out of a workshop in Sussex to leading projects for blue-light services, the MOD, and now Wildbox Adventure Vehicles, I know what makes a great conversion. That's why I'm proud to be joining the judging panel for this competition.
I'll be judging alongside George Clarke from Channel 4's Amazing Spaces and Abir Tewari, UK Director of Commercial Operations for eBay. Together, we're looking for the UK's most innovative and well-executed van conversions.

To enter, you'll need at least five parts bought on eBay with proof, four photos of your build, and either a short write-up (250 words) or a 2-minute video telling your story.
What I'll Be Looking For
I'm not just interested in shiny finishes or Instagram-worthy photos. What catches my eye as a judge:

- Safe, reliable engineering with attention to detail
- Innovation with solutions that solve real problems for work or adventure
- Sustainability through clever material choices or designs that reduce impact
